Hand Insertion Tools

Ideal for low volume, short run and prototype PCB assembly applications, Zierick’s hand tools offer a simple and reliable method for inserting press fit and splay mounted terminals. The hand tool can be easily installed on any type of press machine for increased flexibility and faster insertion. With the addition of a lower tool die, terminals can then be splayed and locked into place to improve reliability and prevent part removal and rotation. Zierick hand tools are available for PCB-mounted quick-disconnect terminals, quick-disconnect receptacles, post receptacles, test points and IDC terminals. Design for Testability (DFT Test)
Corelis can provide you with design consultation and an analysis of your design for boundary-scan testability. We will review your design and make specific recommendations that if implemented will improve the testability. We can also suggest improvements that will increase test coverage and allow boundary-scan to be implemented in a more cost-effective manner.This service also includes a DFT test coverage analysis that we recommend to do after schematic capture and before PCB layout. At this stage of product development, Corelis provides you with a comprehensive test coverage reports that identifies all of the boundary-scan nets and pins and classifies them as completely tested, partially tested, or not tested. The report also recommends where to add test points (pads) for physical “nails” access if additional test coverage is required.

The parallel tester Fineliner enables two-sided contact with fne structures. Withvisual detection of both substrate sides and corresponding adapter position correction≥ 300μm test points can be contacted. The rigid needle adapter with a pitch of ≥ 400μmalso allows a high contact density. This results in a large test depth on the substrate.The integrated DMC reader ensures a correct test result assignment. Multiple PCB canbe tested step by step through in the X-direction of the Fineliner, further eliminatingsubstrate tolerances in the X-direction, and enabling more cost-effective adapters andmeasurement techniques.
