Model PCI-A12-16A is a multifunction, analog-to-digital, digital-to-analog, and digital I/O card. It accepts up to 16 single-ended inputs or eight differential inputs. Inputs are protected against over-voltage conditions up to ±35 volts and typically survive static discharges beyond 4000 volts. Conversions can be initiated in any one of three ways: (a) software command, (b) external start commands, or (c) on a timed basis using on-board programmable counters. Converted data may be transferred to the computer by one of two software selected methods: (a) polling for the end-of-conversion signal, or (b) by generating an Interrupt when the end-of-conversion signal occurs.

The DM84 is an 8-in, 4-out digital matrix processor with the capability to route any combination of inputs to any combination of outputs with extremely low throughput latency. Automatic microphone mixing is accomplished via a patented Adaptive Proportional Gain algorithm. Sophisticated filtering is offered on each input and output. A compressor is available on each input, a compressor and limiter on each output. In addition, each input and output can be configured with a delay setting of up to 100 ms for inputs, 250 ms for outputs. The DM84 runs on the latest-generation DSP architecture and can be integrated as part of a larger system by connecting other DM units (like the DMTH4) via the Digital Audio Network Interface (DANI) bus.

The voltmeter included in the kit, the “Model DPM” voltmeter, is designed for ease of use by meter readers and corrosion technicians alike and the voltmeter comes with an integrated RE-5 reference electrode attached for “metallic structure-to-soil” potential difference readings. The kit also includes a special test lead that has a brass thumb screw on one end which allows the test lead to substitute for the RE-5 reference electrode.
