Proximity detection sensors measure reflected infrared (IR) energy to detect the presence of an object or person. The devices include an integrated LED driver and, in some devices, an integrated LED. The proximity detection devices provide four programmable LED drive currents and IR pulse repetitions. The proximity detection circuitry compensates for ambient light, allowing it to operate in environments ranging from bright sunlight to dark rooms. The wide dynamic range allows operation in short-distance detection applications behind dark glass, such as mobile phones. Proximity detection sensors can be used to replace a mechanical switch or to sense human gestures.

The two laser beams follow the infrared optical path to mark the position of the measuring field at any distance. At the focus point both lasers are crossing – this greatly supports an exact alignment and reduces measurement errors. HXV products are high voltage systems intened for Hi-pot / IR or High voltage switching. They can be configured to drive from 32 to 128 switch points per chassis and can be configured as multiplexer (1xN) or Matrix (NxM) configurations. Stand HXV chassis are used for signals up to 5000 VAC rms ( 7400 V peak ) and can carry up to 5 amps of current. Custom systems can be built up to 25KV. Most of the modules used in these systems are 1xN multiplexers or 2x4 matrix modules that can be combined to form larger multiplexers or matrices. Connector options for standard HXV include 5 way banaba jacks / binding posts, Shrouded Banana Jacks or SHV ( High voltage BNC) if you need to use a high voltage cable with a grounded shield for safety applications. Control options include 10/100BaseT Ethernet LAN, RS232, GPIB or optional manual control. Standard HXV systems use high voltage reed relays. Custom HXV systems up to 25KV use application specific relays and connectors from a variety of vendors based on required specifications.

The Model T360 CO2 analyzer measures Carbon Dioxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high-energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO2 filled chamber and a chamber with no CO2 present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 2.56 meters.The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. This design produces excellent zero and span stability and high signal to noise ratio, allowing excellent performance over a wide concentration range.All T Series instruments offer an advanced color display, capacitive touch screen, intuitive user interface, flexible I/O, and built-in data acquisition capability. All instrument set up, control and access to stored data and diagnostic information is available through the front panel, or via RS232, Ethernet, or USB com ports, either locally or by remote connection.The Model T360 comes with NumaView™ Software. The integrated Bluetooth module in the evaluation kit, the PAN1740, draws 4.9mA in transmit or receive operating modes, which means it can be powered by coin cell batteries.
