Motor Test for Stepping Motors
*Stable measurement: Since it uses Prony braking, this model provides stable measurement unaffected by moments of inertia and no coupling loss. In addition, the resulting measurements allow data correlation via the traditional double-balance method.*Precision measurement method: This model’s judgment of synchronization loss achieves high stability using algorithms developed by Sugawara Laboratories. Measurement mode can be chosen based on step angle. For pull-in torque, startup can be measured consistently from the holding state. Allows measurement at 1-Hz resolution.*Broad measurement range: This model offers a range of seven available measurement heads, from 0.5 N to 50 N, allowing use for high-precision measurements. Through selection and use of pulleys, this model can also be used to measure small motors of 0.5 mN·m or less or 500 mN·m motors. The MIT2500 insulation and continuity tester has been designed for motor and cable testing, specialist applications and electrical testing applications, where operation voltages exceed 1000 V and higher insulation test voltages are needed. The MIT2500 offers both fixed range voltages of 50 V, 100V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V, as well as a variable range that allows any voltage between 50 V and 2500 V to be "dialled in". This is supported by the new test voltage feedback control, which maintains the output test voltage to within 2% of the selected range, even when under test.

Magtrol’s Cogging Test System is a stand-alone test system designed to control and measure Detent Torque, Cogging Torque and Friction Torque. The test System includes a precision geared motor, a TS Series Torque Sensor integrating a 5 000 pulses encoder. CTS 100 to CTS 102 have a built-in security clutches to avoid system overload by mishandling when not in use. The geared motor drives the MUT (Motor Under Test) at a low speed from 1 to 10 rpm (respectively 8 rpm for CTS 103 and CTS 104), while acquiring its cogging torque related to angle position.
