Multibeam Echosounder - Deep Water
HydroSweep DS
The HydroSweep DS is a deep water multiebeam echosounder ideally suited for seabed mapping in deep water up to full ocean depth based on a sonar frequency between 14 kHz to 16 kHz. Beside bathymetric depth information from 10 m to more than 11,000 m, sidescan data and backscatter data for seabed classification are acquired. The HydroSweep DS does not only gather sea floor information, but also uses adaptive bottom tracking windows to identify sonar targets in the water column and can be optionally operated as a parametric sub-bottom profiler without additional transducers and electronics.

Using an absolute gravity referenced electrolytic sensor, the 820 delivers superior measurement accuracy with virtually no long-term drift. High-gain units are sensitive to <0.0017 mm/m or better. Output options include analog (±5 VDC, ±10 VDC), current (4-20mA) and digital (RS232 and RS422). All units are rated to 50 meters waterproof for advanced protection from the elements. The RescueME PLB1 is the world's smallest 406mhz & GPS enabled PLBOperation of the rescueME PLB could not be simpler. To activate the PLB: Pull the retractable antenna out by its end tab, flip open the spring loaded cover over the activation button, hold the button for 1 second until the lights blink. Visual instructions are clearly printed on the case. When activated, the rescueME PLB1 will transmit accurate position data from its 66 channel GPS for a minimum of 24 hours while the integrated strobe light ensures maximum visibility.Ocean Signal has ensured that rescueME, like all of its other safety products, exceeds statutory requirements. RescueME PLB provides an incredible 7 year battery life, and is covered by a 7 year warranty. Even after more than 24 hours of continuous operation, and when the battery power is insufficient to transmit the satellite signal, the PLB1's homing beacon and strobe light will continue to operate. This high intensity strobe light features a molded lens to enhance the visibility of its efficient LED and it gives a powerful 1 candela light emission.Self-test of the PLB can be carried out with a simple button press with the start of test and results clearly indicated by a green flashing light. The antenna is easily extended like a normal tape measure and can be retracted using the winding mechanism on the top of the unit. This unique feature greatly facilitates user training and familiarization as it is not a one time deployable antenna similar to existing PLBs.rescueME comes with a snap-in mounting bracket and universal rubber mounting strap which can be fitted permanently or with each use. It is also supplied with a detachable flotation lanyard to accommodate all scenarios out of the box.

Logger Version 2-D Electro-Magnetic Current Meter for Deep Ocean
INFINITY-Deep AEMD-USB
INFINITY-Deep is an autonomously deployable data logger for current speed measurements in the deep oceans. The currents in the deep oceans are very weak. It is too hard to accurately measure the deep water currents by some ADVs (Acoustic Doppler Velocimeters) that detect the Doppler-effect by scatter with the suspended particles in the water, because the concentration is very low. INFINITY-Deep measures 2-D current data through a magnetic field according to Faraday's law. Therefore, even if the suspended particles do not exist around the sensor, it can provide the accurate current data. The depth rating is 6,000m. Compared to INFINITY-EM, the instrument has a depth and a tilt sensors to monitor mooring status. Also, the battery capacity doubles for long-term current velocity measurements.
