All channels provide for voltage division ahead of transient suppression before going into the S&H ICs. Channels that are sampled and held use a common sample and hold pulse that samples while high and holds while low. Jumpers on each S&H chip allow buffering of analog signals where sample and holds are not required. Clock Drivers
Multiple timing signals ("clocks") are required by CCDs, IR FPAs, and some CMOS image sensors to transport electrical charge across the array to a sense amplifier for conversion into image data. Pulse Instruments offers a line of "clock drivers" for generating these timing signals. The parameters of these clocks (clock rate, pulse width, pulse amplitude, rise- and fall-times, etc.) greatly influence the behavior and performance of the imaging device. Our products take logic-level inputs from a pattern generator and allow the user to adjust the output parameters to suit their device and testing requirements. Clocks can be "tweaked" in real-time to determine optimal operating parameters for a particular device, or else programmed in accordance with a test plan for automated production test.

The CM8 module is a combination of NAI's MIL-STD-1553B module, FTB, and Enhanced Discrete I/O module, DT4. The CM8 offers twelve channels of discrete I/O and two channels of MIL-STD-1553B communications. Flashlight Solar Simulator
Flashlight Solar Simulators have the advantage of negligible temperature change to the solar cell. For this reason, they are primarily used in cell and module production environments. Also, they are a more budgetary alternative if large cell areas are to be illuminated, because it is easier to have excellent light uniformity on areas of 8 in x 8 in or larger. So, this type of solar simulator is also used for analysis of large area thin film solar cells. But care must be taken, as some materials (e.g. CIGS) have long inherent time constants, so that the pulse length (better: flash plateau) must be chosen accordingly.
