Collins Radar Fixture with Gyro Simulator

This weather radar test fixture is a combination of the established WXT-250 series fixture and the RDR-2000 and RDR-2100 radars so that a single panel will provide many features that are still required today. The gyro simulator built into the panel is usable for either radar being tested and eliminate's plugging in any external simulator. The features for both product lines as shown in their respecting CMM's are provided on the panel so that full testing and alignment of these radars and their system components can be tested and/or evaluated. Universal Heading and Track Selector Panel This panel provides a synchro transmitter for Heading and a synchro resolver for Nav converter alignment. The synchros are mounted on industry standard 18:1 dual speed drives for maximum accuracy and repeatability. This unit can be used to calibrate both manual and automatic converters. This panel provides a rear mounted interface connector as well as front mounted tip jacks for independent breakout if so desired. The TA-260 also provides two discrete switches associated with the resolver configuration. The 30Hz/400Hz switch is provided to allow the resolver to be properly compensated for the type of Nav converter to be aligned. The second switch allows you to open or short the resolver rotor lead as may be required by some newer GPS equipment. This panel is lightweight enough for portable use or may be rack mounted.

Emergency Battery Test Fixture

This test fixture will allow servicing of the 60-1321-( ) series of emergency exit light power supply. These supplies are used in many aircraft to annunciate exit lighting when aircraft power failure occurs. The TA-60 test fixture is equivalent to the suggested test fixture in the OEM 60-1321 CMM. The four load lamps are conveniently placed behind an acrylic red lens for proper viewing while performing load test. The bench cable is provided as part of the test fixture.

We have added an option to the panel that allows you to select an analog slaving meter or the LED monitor lights as shown in the maintenance manual Fig. 5-14. The addition of the meter provides the technician with a more visible means to monitor the slaving "trend". The 50 pin DG connector is broken out on the panel to assist in monitoring or isolating unit signals.

This transponder test fixture is specific to the requirements for testing Becker Avionics Transponders and provides interface connectors for both the panel mount and remote systems. The panel also provides switches to implement Gillham code altitude as well as separate interfaces for an external parallel or serial encoder. The panel will interface with the RMU 5000 or standard control head. This fixture also comes with voltage and current meters along with an internal dimming source. This panel comes in the standard 19 inch rack width and measures 12 inches in depth.

ARINC HSI / ADI Test Fixture

The TA-2000 test fixture is a combination panel that incorporates all the standard capabilities of the legacy CTS-11(ADI) and CTS-12(HSI) panels and much more. This panel is married to our model TA-1001 dual synchro transmitter/API panel thus allowing for local stimulus and alignment of the instruments synchros and resolvers. The panel provides for testing of both superflag(28v) and low level meters through a matrix of switching that will allow testing of all meters simultaneously or just individually. The low level meter drive circuit also incorporates an automatic mode that will continuously oscillate the L/R and Up/Dn pointers.
