HSI System Test Panel

This panel was designed to test primarily the NSD360 series of HSI systems. Panel allows running the complete system on the bench. Included is a panel mounted TA-902 API which can also be used for testing external instruments via a panel mounted switch. The API and standard meter drives allow testing many different instruments.

ADI Test Fixture
TA-6500
The TA-6500 test fixture combines the features of the OEM's Instrument Servo Tester(T307962), the Pointer/Flag Test Fixture(T307951) and the AD-650/600 Test Panel(T334043) all into one panel to facilitate testing of these Attitude Director Indicator's. The panel switches and adjustment pots are labeled to match the test procedure numbers and the duplicity in marking makes it easier for the technician to understand each function. The UUT interface is through a 96 pin zero insertion force(ZIF) type connector to minimize contact wear. The expanded localizer and nav input pins J2-34/35 are exposed on the panel to facilitate the insertion of a 200 ohm shunt when required. The fixtures rear panel has connectors for the required dual API/Synchro transmitter interface while the panel switches provide the correct routing of each.

RMI Test Panel

This is an RMI tester built to duplicate the original model 970E-1 unit. The panel is laid out just like the 970E-1 with an additional interface for our TA-568 to allow distance testing on the BDI-36 RMI. This panel incorporates both SIN/COS and 3 wire synchro outputs. With the use of our TA-900 API the bootstrap and other synchros can be aligned.

KMD540 Series and RDR2000/2100 Panel
TA-3C
The TA-3C test fixture is a combination of the KMD540 testing requirements and the RDR-2000/2100 weather radar interface requirements. This panel allows the technician to test the KMD540 MFD as a stand alone item (with external simulators) or together with a radar sensor for a dynamic real time test. The panel includes the required switching for sensor alignment and KMD testing along with input jacks for the required data inputs. Also built into the fixture is an analog gyro simulator for checking the stabilization functions of the sensor. The full enclosure comes in standard panel width.

Test Fixture with API
TA-14VG
The TA-14VG test fixture is based on the requirements for the Integrated Test Procedure for the VG-14A assembly as shown in the OEM maintenance manual. The panel also contains a test point breakout for the units main connector as well as one for the VG-401 base. The VG-401 breakouts provide an in series connection that will allow easy access to the gyro's signals and also provides a way to monitor rotor current. The panel also contains a variac to allow for line voltage adjustment.

Serial Distance Display

This panel mounted or portable display will read Bendix/King serial distance as generated by their DME systems or GPS products. This long standing three wire format of CLK, DATA and REQ can now easily be displayed without the expense of a KTS143 test fixture. This product is ideal for shop and aircraft troubleshooting.
