General Purpose Pressure Transducer and Transmitter

The robust P55 pressure transducer provides cost-effective reliability for severe test environments. With extreme resistance to shock and vibration, the P55 pressure transducer delivers the same high-level performance expected from more delicate differential pressure transducers and pressure transmitters. With variable reluctance sensing technology, the P55 pressure transducer delivers fast dynamic response, high resistance to vibration and superior signal stability through ambient temperature change for a wide variety of low-pressure to high-pressure measurements. The P55 pressure transducer will accept both liquids and gases directly at the sensing diaphragm and there are no internal isolation fluids to slow the sensor response or cause excessive temperature drift errors.

The SI58 provides everything needed to change the range of your transducer and calibrate it through the new full scale pressure. Corrections to non-linearity and temperature error are also possible. The SI58 software provides prompts to the operator for temperature and pressure points to achieve an accurate calibration.

Digital Display for the Transducers and Transmitters
PS57
The PS57 is a combination power supply and 4 1/2 digit LED display for the P55/P855 family of pressure transducers and transmitters. The PS57 accepts 110 VAC power and provides the required 24 Vdc excitation for the transducer. The transducer signal is received and displayed directly in engineering units with bright 0.56 high red LEDs. The user can re-scale the display and set the decimal point by configuring internal jumpers. The analog output of the transducer, 5 Vdc or 4-20 mA, is available on rear-panel terminals.

Single-Channel USB Carrier Demodulator

The Validyne model CD17 is a USB-powered carrier demodulator for Validyne variable reluctance pressure sensors such as the DP15, DP45 and DP103. The CD17 allows any Validyne variable reluctance sensor to be used directly with a PC via the USB port. Communication and power via USB interface provides remote zero and span adjustment as well as digital pressure readings in mV/V. Drivers and software for the USB interface are included.

SU63
The Validyne SU63 is an AC inductive speed pick-up used for RPM measurement on high-speed rotating equipment. The SU63 is a tightly-wound coil with a laminated core that can be conveniently mounted on rotating equipment so that the magnetic field of a magnetized nut or part passes through the coil windings. The moving magnetic field produces a voltage within the coil proportional to its rate of change and the strength of the permanent magnetized part. The frequency of this inductive voltage spike is fed into an oscilloscope or counter to determine RPM.

The CD280 Carrier Demodulator is a complete multi channel system in a small package which houses a plug-in power supply and 4 carrier demodulator circuit boards. The power supply provides regulated 5 Vac 5 kHz carrier power for Variable Reluctance and LVDT transducers , and the carrier demodulators demodulate and amplify the input signals to a 10 Vdc full-scale output. Zero and span adjustments are available for each channel. The system operates from 115 Vac, 50 to 400 Hz, line power.

High Line Pressure Transducer
P365
The P365D transducer is designed to make low differential pressure measurements at high static line pressures. Operating from unregulated 9 to 55Vdc, the P365D is available with 4-20mA, 5Vdc or isolated 5Vdc output over full scale pressure ranges from 8 to 10,000 psid. The output shift due to static pressure will not exceed 3% of full scale, up to a line pressure of 10,000 psig.

Easy Sense 2100 is available for use with the UPC2100. Easy Sense 225x is used with the Universal Data Acquisition System(UDAS) or the USB2251. The Software includes a GUI configuration utility that allows the user to set sensor type, gain range, channel, and all other input parameters. The configuration can be saved to non-volatile memory on the card so that the UP2100 or the UDAS can be used in embedded applications.

The CD379 is a portable, completely self contained digital transducer indicator. In addition to the front panel liquid crystal digital display, the unit also provides a 2 Vdc analog output suitable for recording, remote display or control purposes. The unit is for use with all variable reluctance transducers and features solid state electronics, 3 1/2 digit liquid crystal display and battery pack with six 1.5V penlight cells for truly portable operation. The unit can also be powered from an external DC power supply or AC battery eliminator (converter) module.

Draft Range Trasmitter
DR800
The Validyne Model DR800 Draft Range Transmitter is designed exclusively for very low pressure measurement needs. It has a "true" full-scale range as low as 0.25" H2O, making it ideal for air flow control applications. It can be turned down to 0.1" H2O; higher full-scale ranges to 100" H2O are available. The DR800 offers 0.5% accuracy and an operating temperature range of -20F to +185F. The total combined temperature effects are less than 3%/100F.
