This version of the 8x4 power matrix is for heavy current/low duty cycle power switching. Connections are made via a front panel 37-way D-Type male connector or two 20-way GMCT male connectors. Medium density PXI dual 46x4, 1-pole matrix - it is also available inreed relay formats of 2-pole and 1-pole screened (see "also in this range" on right). The screened version is suitable for switching signals up to 50MHz. Typical applications include signal routing in ATE and data acquisition systems. The two banks may be used for operating a 4-wire measurement system (bank-1 for source, bank-2 for measure). Larger matrices may be constructed by daisy chaining the common signals from multiple PXI Modules.

Our small format embedded switching (SIM relay) cards offer a choice of switching configurations using low cost industry standard SIM connectors. They free the designer from the detail of routing complex switching circuits, you may select from a wide range of cards using the built in RS-232 and I2C interfaces. These low-cost embedded switching cards are intended to be mounted on to a simple motherboard. They may be used to construct very high density switching networks. SIM based switching cards also allow for very simple in-field maintenance.
