When it comes to choosing a transformer turns ratio tester, TRT Standard series offers some of the most advanced instruments with LCD display out in the market. Each model measures transformer excitation current and phase shift performs automatic vector group detection and magnetic balance on three-phase transformers and three-phase autotransformers. Furthermore, they have a built-in true three-phase power source. Because of that, TRT Standard instruments can test transformers with special configurations, such as phase-shifting, rectifier, arc-furnace, traction transformers, etc.The instruments can output test voltages from 1 V AC to 250 V AC, depending on the chosen model. The M2p.59xx series allows recording of up to eight single-ended channels or up to four differential channels both with sampling rates of up to 125 MS/s. These PCI Express cards offer outstanding A/D features both in resolution and speed. The cards can be switched between single-ended inputs with a programmable offset and true differential inputs. If used in differential mode each two inputs are connected together reducing the number of available channels by half. The 16 bit vertical resolution have four times the accuracy compared to 14 bit cards and sixteen times the accuracy if compared with a 12 bit card. All boards of the M2p.59xx series may use the whole installed on-board memory of up to 512 MSamples completely for the currently activated number of channels.
