Transformer Winding Resistance Meters
RMO TT Series
The Tap Changer Analyzer & Winding Ohmmeter of the RMO-TT series is designed for winding resistance measurement of inductive objects, and for a tap changer analysis. The RMO-TT series is based on the state of the art technology, using the most advanced switch mode technology available today. The RMO-TT instruments are accurate (0,1%), powerful (up to 100 A) and still portable. The Instruments generate a true DC ripple free current with automatically regulated measurement and discharging circuit. RMO-TT instruments can perform a simple, quick and reliable transformer on-load tap changer condition assessment. This series of instruments enable measurements of a winding resistance in every tap position, current ripple values (percentage of a current drop during a tap change) and transition times during the tap changes. Problems with a connection, contacts, and selector/diverter switch operation (tap change with interruption) can be detected with these measurements.

The standard gain horn and the antenna under test are alternately connected to a well matched detector system in order to compare their relative power levels. NMC''s Transformer BDV Oil Test Set is a portable unit as per relevant Indian Standard Specification IS :6792 :1992, suitable for operation on 230 / 240 Volts, A.C. 50 Hz. A three core flexible cable is connected to the unit with three pin socket to connect the mains. The H.V. Transformer is a completely dry, resin encapsulated with two H.V. terminals with mounting saddles. The center point of the transformer is earthed, so that the voltage of each terminal to earth is only half the test voltage.

Standard Helmholtz Coils
Helmholtz Coils are ideal for the measurement of Rare Earth (Samarium Cobalt, Neodymium) and Hard Ferrite permanent magnet materials (materials which exhibit a relative straight line demagnetization). Our standard Helmholtz Coils are for use with fluxmeters. The Helmholtz Coil measures the magnet sample as a single magnetic moment provided that the longest dimension of the magnet sample is less than one-third (1/3) the diameter of the coil system. By definition, the magnetic moment per unit volume is the intrinsic magnetization of the sample. With our calibrated Helmholtz Coil and Integrated Fluxmeter – and given the volume of the permanent magnet sample – the intrinsic open circuit operating B (Bdi) can be measured.
