LCG-1600 Goniophotometrc System carries out measuring methods of fixed location and rotating luminaires. The measured luminaire is installed on the two-dimension rotating table, using “+” laser to make the luminaire lighting center superposed with the rotating center of rotating table. The mechanical equipment allows turning the tested luminaires around a vertical axis and a horizontal axis. When tested luminaires turn around horizontal axis, the detector which is at the same level with rotating table will measure the intensity of each direction at this surface. When rotating with vertical axis, the detector will measure the intensity at the vertical surface. The vertical and horizontal axis can be rotated continuously at ±180° or 0~360°. According to the measurement requirements, the system can be operated in C-γ coordinates. When getting intensity distribution data, computer will calculate other photometric parameters automatically.

An Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) tests the integrity of a fiber optic cable. Using a fiber OTDR, a technician can verify splice loss, identify length, and very easily locate faults in the cable. Another use is to verify the accurate installation of a fiber optic cable when it’s newly installed. If/when problems arise or if an issue is suspected in the future, a fiber OTDR can then compare the images from the original trace to the present state of the cable.

Used by several power companies around the United States, professional noise hunters, and other communications specialists, the HFDF has located noise sources that emanated from pole power transformers, arcing electric fences, CATV in-line amplifiers, plasma TV screens, and even Marijuana grower’s heating lamps! The system incorporates several plug-in, tunable magnetic loop sensors of a proprietary National RF design, that cover the frequency range between 1.8 MHz and 55 MHz. The unit is packaged in a hand-held, lightweight metallic enclosure, with a pistol grip and a magnetic compass mounted on top. The compass is used to get magnetic bearings to the noise source, which may be plotted on a map to triangulate, and ultimately pin-point, the location of the noise source. In certain cases, our customers tell us that they have been able to walk right up to the interfering noise source and correct the situation on the spot!
