Large Aperture Beam Profilers

Modern laser applications seldom require large beam profiling, combined with high resolution. The BeamOn HR 1" is the perfect solution enabling both relatively large beam characterization, with a high resolution detector of 20 MP. By implementing a diffuser to present the beam to a smaller detector via dedicated optics, one of the largest beam profilers of 60 mm is offered, i.e BeamOn LA U3. Even further than that, for collimated beams the Laser Analyzing Telescope offers an input aperture of 100 mm combined with high resolution, attitude and divergence measurement of the laser beam.

The AWMF-0129 is an active array for 5G wireless applications developed using planar antenna technology resulting in a very low profile, lightweight unit. The surface mount assembled antenna board is based on Anokiwave’s AWMF-0108 Silicon Quad Core IC and demonstrates the performance achievable using low power silicon integration and efficient antenna layout and design. Using the AWMF-0108, the antenna provides +50dBmi output power while consuming just 12W DC power in the RF circuits and has achieved Gb/s data rates in OTA trials. The electronic 2D beam steering is achieved using analog RF beam forming, with independent phase and gain control in both Tx and Rx operating modes. The AWMF-0129 antenna leads the way in showing how 5G coverage can be rolled out by network operators using the mmW bands, with low power footprint and high energy efficiency, while meeting key operating specifications for data rate, latency, coverage, and reliability.

Hand-helds are portable calibration instruments for mobile use for the accurate measurement and recording of temperature profiles. For the instruments there are various designs of thermometers available. Through this, hand-helds are particularly suitable as test instruments for a large variety of applications in the widest range of industries. Data recorded in the hand-held can be evaluated via PC software, some instruments document calibrations in the internal memory, which can later be read on a PC. Highly accurate automatic measurement of glass thickness distributions. The glass thickness profiler GPM has the function to execute a fast and precise determination of the thickness profile of flat glass samples or another transparent material with a thickness range from 30µm to 700µm (option with sensor type 1) and width to 1200mm. The measuring point distance of the profile measurement can be varied over a micro-step-controlled positioning steering between 0.1mm and 1mm. The measured value accommodation for a scanning point takes place with the help of a special hardware module for image processing algorithms within 40 ms. The entire measuring time for a sample results thus as product from the sample width which has to be measured, the measuring point distance and the measuring time per measuring point.
