The AWA-0134 is an active array for 5G wireless applications developed using planar antenna technology resulting in a very low profile, lightweight unit. The surface mount assembled antenna board is based on Anokiwave’s AWMF-0108 Silicon Quad Core IC and demonstrates the performance achievable using low power silicon integration and efficient antenna layout and design. The DMC-52xx0 EtherCAT Master is Galil Motion Control's first 32 axis motion controller. It is a pure EtherCAT controller capable of controlling up to 32 drives and 2 IO modules on one EtherCAT Network in a small, space efficient package. The DMC-52xx0 makes configuration and programming easy with just a handful of EtherCAT configuration commands and Galil’s intuitive, two-letter programming language. The DMC-52xx0 is offered in 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 axis formats. Coordinated moves can be done within banks of 8 allowing for minimal changes to Galil’s programming language. Galil supports a variety of EtherCAT drives to accommodate most applications. The DMC-52xx0 operates in Cyclic Synchronous Position mode (CSP). In this mode the servo control loop is closed on the EtherCAT drive while the Galil sends motion profile data at a 1 kHz rate. The DMC-52xx0 features 8 uncommitted opto-isolated inputs and 8 uncommitted opto-isolated high power outputs. It also includes 8 uncommitted analog inputs and 8 uncommitted analog outputs. One 100 Mbps Ethernet port and one USB (serial) port are provided for communication with a host PC or external devices.

Thorlabs' Mode-Conditioned Light Sources are fiber-coupled LED sources that have an output with a flat-top profile in the far field. Common applications include the testing of multimode fused fiber components as well as verification of modal behavior in fiber-based setups. Standard fiber-coupled LED sources can have a range of output profiles that are usually not uniform and vary from source to source. This can be dependent on emitter orientation, alignment with fiber tip, and connector assembly. These mode-conditioned sources have been engineered to distribute light evenly into all transverse modes, resulting in an equilibrium modal distribution at the output. The front panel includes an adjustment knob to control the power and an output port that accepts 2.2 mm wide-key FC/PC connectors. A DS15 15 V power supply with a location-specific plug is included with each device.

A major problem in the backplane industry is detecting bent connector pin defects. The most difficult being when the pin bends underneath the shroud rather than going into the hole. Many times this defect cannot be detected electrically as the connector pin is touching the conductive annular ring of the hole, allowing electrical test to pass. Unfortunately, it is an intermittent connection and will fail later on as there is not an actual mechanical connection.
