Thermal Testing
At E-Labs, Inc., we support thermal cycling and thermal bakeout vacuum testing requirements. During thermal cycling, the unit experiences repeated heating and cooling as it would when exposed to the harsh environment of space. During thermal bakeout, flight equipment is subjected to an outgassing reduction process so as to decrease the chance of molecular contamination of the spacecraft instrumentation.

Pressure measurement ranges go from vacuum up to 1000 bar (14,500 Psi). Also, intrinsically safe pressure calibrators are available for use in hazardous areas.

Poroscope Plus measures the time it takes for air to flow into a known volume of a sealed, evacuated chamber in the concrete. While the vacuum reduces from -55 Kpa to -50 Kpa, a measure of air permeability is determined. For water permeability, Poroscope Plus uses the same chamber filled with water, and measures the total time in seconds for a volume of 0.01 ml of water to escape.

Ultra-High Vacuum Ф4 Scanning Kelvin Probe
The Ф4 Ultra-high Vacuum Scanning Kelvin Probe system gives the user full access to work function measurements under vacuum with the ability to alter the temperature from 77 K to 860 K. The Kelvin Probe measurement has resolution of 1 - 3 meV for a 2 mm tip on a conducting sample. The sample is mounted on a plate that is located on a motorized (x, y, z) translator attached to a stainless-steel vacuum chamber. Phi 4 also comes with a photoemission spectroscopy system with a tuneable source (3.4 - 7.0 eV). The deep ultra-violet (DUV) light spot measures approximately 3 x 4 mm. Absolute work function measurements can be obtained with this system in the range of 4.0 - 6.5 eV with an accuracy of 0.05 - 0.1 eV.

1.533 Μm Frequency-Locked Laser
Thorlabs' LLD1530 Frequency-Locked Laser is a narrow linewidth, DFB-laser-diode-based, turnkey system with a vacuum emission wavelength of 1532.8323 nm and a high SMSR of at least 35 dB. The laser frequency is actively stabilized to a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-traceable molecular transition of acetylene and has an absolute accuracy at start-up that is better than ±25 MHz. The emission frequency immediately after start-up is then maintained with a ±25 MHz stability, providing an overall frequency accuracy of ±50 MHz. The LLD1530 is an accurate frequency reference designed to provide low-noise laser emission with excellent frequency stability, accuracy, and precision immediately at start-up. This source is ideal for use in demanding FTIR instrumentation, instrument calibration, gas sensing, and coherent telecommunications applications.

XRT Source Brighthawk
The BRIGHTHAWK NT100 is a performance-leading microfocus X-ray tube comprising proprietary technology to achieve a high brightness output. The tube consists of a LaB6 crystal source for generation of the electron beam, a magnetic beam steering system, and a tungsten target for X-ray photon emission.
