Four channel MAX31855 digital thermocouple Arduino Shield. Two versions of this shield are avaliable for each thermocouple type: either 'Ch 0-3' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 7-10) or 'Ch 4-7' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 3-6), with the only difference being which set of zero-ohm resistors are populated on the board. This allows use of other SPI devices that may be 'hard coded' to specific digital pins on the Arduino, or simply stacking one of each type together to get a total of eight thermocouple channels on one Arduino. The MAX31855J supports a measured temperature range of -210C-1200C with known thermal characteristics and output resolution of 0.25C. Included thermocouple connectors are type-specific to provide proper material continuity as close to the IC as possible. It features extremely flat frequency response over its entire band of operation and very good frequency response stability versus temperature. The Keysight 8474B is also very rugged with high resistance to ESD damage. The Keysight 8474B detectors are available with 0.01 to 18 GHz and a type-N connector. This detector offers options for optimal square-law loads (Option 102) and for positive polarity output (Option 103). Because the unit-to-unit frequency response tracking of these devices is typically better than plus or minus 0.3 dB, no matched response option is offered.

The 40-735 data communications multiplexer is designed for switching the data lines of serial interfaces (RS232, USB). Careful attention to the design of the module ensures that the switching system minimizes its impact on the transmission distance of USB1.1 interfaces. The MUX is available in 36:1 or 18:1 formats and enables a single source of serial data to be switched to one of 36 or 18 devices under test. This allows the data source to load information to, or receive information from, the device under test. The 36:1 version can be software configured into two independent 18 way MUXs enabling two separate sources of serial data to be connected to separate banks of 18 devices.
