The Xcite System Master Controller provides all dual loop functions needed for accurate closed loop control and display of the static and dynamic test variables, while producing the highest electro-hydraulic frequency response. At the heart of each Xcite System is the Master Controller, a compact electronic control package which provides all of the controls and displays necessary to operate a controlled force or torque exciter system. The Xcite Master Controller is unique in that it provides electro-hydraulic excitation over a broad frequency range, unprecedented by any previous electro-hydraulic excitation system. It achieves its great frequency range through the use of sophisticated circuitry, high voltage inputs to the servovalve and compression control of the dynamic feedback variable in addition to the conventional servo control of the static loop. The LC-8120/8220 is the GPS-based speedometers which measure speed and distance of moving objects with high accuracy. Support for GLONASS satellite which is not supported in the conventional model (LC-8100A/8200A) to ensure stable measurement. Antenna for LC-8220 (LC-0721) is smaller and lighter than the conventional antenna for LC-8200A (LC-0086) and it enables easy operation. The new antenna (LC-0721) is able to attach to the conventional unit of LC-8200(A) for measurement. The linearity of acceleration and angular speed are improved by using the standard IMU (inertial measurement unit) together with the optional high accuracy IMU. Also, by adding the high response IMU analog output function (option), the analog output frequency of the IMU data can be increased from 100 Hz to 500 Hz. A wide range of optional functions such as white-line detecting function (LC-0856), jerk measurement function (LC-0871) and average deceleration speed calculation (function in the LC-0831) are available for various automotive tests.

Signal quality problems caused by mismatched impedance can result in intermittent measurements and faulty diagnostics. This is most often observed when transporting a test program from one system to another, such as re-hosting it from an older generation system to a new one. The primary root cause of the impedance mismatch is the signal path from the UUT to the measurement instrument. The switching system technology often is responsible for much of the distortion. The Signal Buffer Module (SBM) is designed to receive a signal from the UUT with high impedance output and accurately reproduced it at the output for delivery to the measurement instrument. The SBM output matches the 50 ohm input impedance of most measurement instruments and result in significantly reduced signal distortion.
