The TIPIX 2200 is a transmitter purposely designed for deep Induced Polarisation or Resistivity sounding investigations. This entry-level instrument has been designed for an ease of use and for a good productivity together with a strong protection against misuse. This very robust device has proven to be reliable even in very cold weather (up to -40°C) or in wet environment. It is able to inject up to 2200W in the soil and to inject up to 13A, so that it is suitable, even on conductive soils, to measure resistivity and IP at medium range depths. It is powered by standard generator.

Standards Waveform Generator

The 3110A software is built around the simple concept of a waveform segment. Each waveform segment can have a unique waveform, (sine, square, triangle, and/or DC offset). Frequency, amplitude and DC offset can be clipped, fixed, variable or swept. Segments can be calibrated (as required in CS101) and set to continue on to the next segment or to hold for an external trigger.

Disciplined Frequency Standard
2975AR
The 2975AR contains a rubidium timebase and provide one 10 MHz, one 5 MHz and one Signal Generator output. The Signal Generator uses Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) technology and is programmable from 100Hz to 50 MHz using front panel controls or from an RS232 serial interface. The 2975AR can be disciplined by a 1pps input signal and provides a 1pps output signal. The 1pps input is typically provided by the GPS Frequency output from a device like a smart GPS receiver or antenna. The Novatech GPS1 Smart Antenna is available as an accessory to provide a complete turnkey solution.

Standard Directional Gyroscopes
4000B-series
The 4000B is our standard air-driven directional gyro. As the aircraft turns left or right, gears on the sensing unit and dial shaft translate this rotation into rotation of the instrument’s vertical dial. Left turns produce clockwise dial rotation and right turns produce counter-clockwise rotation. The gyro is controlled by a heading selector knob located on the lower left of the instrument. Pressing and turning the knob first disengages the dial shaft and then resets the dial to a new heading, which results in a new course indication. Releasing the selector knob re-engages the dial shaft. The on-course position of the pointer is always at the top of the azimuth circle (0° on the dial with the aircraft headed north).
