The M4KDiscrete module provides a complete solution for developing and testing discrete voltage-level interfaces. The M4KDiscrete contains control I/O registers that are memory-mapped and may be accessed in real time. The module supports twenty programmable I/O discretes that can record or control the external discretes that are connected to it. In addition, the module can record changes in the input discrete with an associated time tag via a built-in FIFO. Output discretes are open collector, capable of handling up to 32V with a maximum sink current of 100 mA each. Ordering Information:The user can set each discrete:• Either as input or output.• Either to TTL (0 – 5V) or Avionics (0 – 32V) voltage levels on inputs and• Either enable or disable external debounce on inputsThere is a 4092 Word FIFO (a string of 1023 discrete entries) containing the data and time tags.The M4KDiscrete module is supplied with C drivers, including source code and may be used with Exalt, Excalibur’s Analysis and Laboratory Tools, a Windows monitoring application.

The Verifier Computer Interface Report (VCIR) is a Windows software package that allows for transferring inspection report from your Inspector series bar code verifier to a computer. Once transferred you can review the ISO/ANSI inspection results or view the scan reflectance profile for detailed troubleshooting. The inspection results can be saved by job for later retrieval or to append new inspection results to the existing job. As each job is saved an Excel spreadsheet (CSV file) is generated. You can customize which parameters should be saved in the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet provides a simple report that will have a line for each bar code inspected.

The PK-232/USB brickwall filters have tighter bandwidth and steeper skirts for improved noise and QRM rejection. New PK-232 firmware (Ver. 7.2) allows a wider selection of filters than the original PK-232, so the filter can match the mode. The correct DSP filter is automatically selected when you choose an internal mode. In RTTY, Timewave’s proven Twin Peak Filters pluck the mark and space tones from the noise and QRM for great copy. In PACTOR, the filter bandwidth automatically changes when the baud rate shifts in response to the error rate of the link. In Morse (CW), the operator can preset either 100 Hz or 200 Hz bandwidth. The PK-232/USB is compatible with all Windows W2K,XP,Vista/Win7 software terminal programs for the PK-232.
