The Keysight 34906A RF multiplexer module for the 34970A/34972A Data Acquisition/Switch Unit offers broadband switching capabilities for high-frequency and pulsed signals. Use it to route test signals between your device under test and your signal generator, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, or other instrumentation. The RF multiplexers are arranged as two independent 1 x 4 multiplexers, each with a common shield and a switched center conductor. Connections can be made directly to SMB inputs with 2 GHz usable bandwidth, or to the BNC-to-SMB adapters provided with 1 bandwidth. Multiple banks may be cascaded together for applications requiring even larger topologies--create a stubless 16:1 multiplexer in a single frame.

The SG1000 Signal Generator and PR1000A Preamplifier have been designed to simplify the measurement of shielding integrity in a shielded enclosure. When coupled with a high stability spectrum analyzer and an appropriate selection of test antennas, the SG1000/PR1000A combination can measure shielding effectiveness at all of the NSA 94-106 (supersedes NSA 65-6) defined test frequencies from 1 kHz to 10 GHz.The PR1000A amplifies the received signal from the test antenna and overcomes the high noise figure of the companion test receiver or spectrum analyzer. The PR1000A will ensure that the system noise figure will be less than 4.5 dB at all test frequencies from 1 kHz to 10 GHz. When used with a spectrum analyzer measurement bandwidth of 100 Hz, the system exhibits a sensitivity of -150 dBm at the test antenna output.To overcome high cable loss between the test antenna and the PR1000A assembly at 10 GHz, a remote low noise pre-amplifier (Praxsym PN 310-010091-001) is mounted directly onto the 10 GHz antenna.

The RF1 near field probe set consists of 4 passive near field probes for making measurements in the development phase of E-field and magnetic field in the ranges of 30 MHz to 3 GHz on electronic assemblies. The probe heads of the RF1 set allow for measurements close to the electronic assemblies, e.g. on single IC pins, conducting paths, components and their connectors in order to localize interference sources. Field orientation and field distribution on an electronic assembly can be detected through a trained special use of the near field probe. The near field probes are small and handy. They have a sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. They can be connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. They do not have an internal terminating resistance.

The Positioner HD is a two-axis azimuth over elevation positioner, for precise angular positioning with full spherical coverage. Designed for antenna and RF device measurement, the positioner is built out of low-reflection materials, with additional RF shielding for minimal multipath and improved measurement accuracy. A slip ring is included to allow for continuous 360° rotation in both axes. This system is highly configurable, with options for RF rotary joints, slip rings for data communications, and custom sizing. An external motor controller is included by default with the Positioner HD. This motor controller connects to a computer via USB and includes an easy-to-use graphic interface. Other command options include automated macros, manual control knobs, Python, Matlab, or Labview interfaces, or direct control via ASCII commands.
