Giga-snaP™ 0.75, 0.8, 1.0, and 1.27mm pitch BGA Surface Mount Feet Adapter line of products provide an inexpensive and reliable method for attaching BGA chips to target board. The product line consists of patented female sockets with machined pins epoxy over-molded into an assembly that matches a particular BGA pattern. The epoxy over-molded female BGA socket is soldered to a PCB using standard soldering methods. A corresponding male pin BGA adapter, to which the user attaches their BGA chip, is plugged into the female socket on the board thus interconnecting the chip and the system is ready to go. The SMT adapters have the same solder ball types as the chips they are emulating. These adapters have less than half of the insertion force of competitive adapters, shorter electrical path for highest speed, and can be solder reflowed numerous times. The 40-196 is a 10 Channel 5A Fault Insertion Switch, primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive & avionics applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers. It is designed to be able to insert different fault conditions between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit, Short-Circuit between signal pairs, Short-Circuit between signal pairs and user applied fault conditions e.g. Power or GND. Shorting relays on each channel enable UUT signals to be subjected to external user applied fault conditions or to be shorted to the adjacent signal in the same channel. Relays in line with the signal allow open circuit conditions to be simulated on either side or both sides of a channel signal pair. The switching topology of the 40-196 allows channels to be interconnected so that complex fault insertion systems can be constructed.

The LS-44-QBS contains up to 4 Lumistar LS-40-DB25 Bit Synchronizer Daughterboards in a 1U RackMount chassis with status lights on the front panel and all interconnections through the rear. The design contains an internal computer which runsoff DOS or Windows depending on the version selected. The DOS version boots quickly without the delays required for Windows startup. The Windows version offers networking. The unit can be connected directly to the optional 1U slideout keyboard/display, for setup resulting in only 2U of total rack height. For applications that require many bit synchronizers, a 1U keyboard/Display with KVM switch allows 32 bit synchronizers in 9U of rack height. When power is applied, the computer will operate with the last configuration unless the operator wishes to change the setup. For setup, the keyboard/display is pulled out and the display is flipped up to monitor the process. When the bit synchronizer setup is completed, the keyboard/display canbe closed up since the status can be monitored on the front panel without an external display.
