The design of the Prometheus is the result of over 10,000 hours of research and development, encompassing hundreds of hours of mathematical analysis, computer simulation and modeling, and numerous prototypes and experiments spanning over a five year period. The result is a rugged, commercial quality amplifier designed to run cool under 1500W continuous SSB, CW or RTTY, with special ferrite transformers and combiners designed for full power operation even on 160 meters.
