Becker NAV/RMU/RMI/OBS Test Fixture

This NAV test fixture is specific to the requirements for testing Becker Avionics NAV, RMI and RMU products. The panel incorporates specific functionality required for testing these Becker products by the book including special requirements for the RMU 5000 and the IN 3300 series of nav indicators. This BAEE NAV test fixture also facilitates resolver alignment and discrete meter testing through the PG 3300 interface connector. The RM 3300 portion of the panel tests the Becker RMI indicators and allows for sourcing the composite signal from the paired radio or from an external generator. The DME channeling outputs are monitored with discrete LED's as well as the ILS, V/LOC, Glideslope and NAV TEST valids. Discrete test jacks are provided for all the meters and the resolver of the NAV indicator and a dimming source is also provided. When testing the RMU 5000 computer access is through a dedicated connector.

The JT 2137 pod remains a popular choice for DataBlaster controller installations that require a compact signal conditioning pod embedded within a test fixture. The JT 2137 features four test access ports which together may be set for 5v or 3.3V TTL thresholds, although additional plug-in adapters are available that allow alternative thresholds to be set on a TAP by TAP basis (contact your local sales office for details). Test Systems
In-Circuit Test (ICT) tests populated circuit boards by means of electronic measurements through thin needles on test fixtures. We offer in-circuit testers for various testing strategies – from the flexible 19“ rack to the ergonomic high-performance tester. And all of our in-circuit testers are also available in the Lambda edition for true parallel testing. The flying probe test checks your printed circuit boards using four movable test heads. This requires no fixtures and allows for flexible test program generation. That makes our flying probe test systems ideal for a high mix of printed circuit boards and small to medium test volumes, such as for prototype testing.

Cover Extend Technology (CET) is now supported on the Medalist i1000D. The i1000D only requires a VTEP MUX card to enable CET. If you are already using test fixtures with VTEP MUX cards , you can now implement CET without any fixture modification. Simply add new VTEP probes to devices that were previously not testable. This greatly reduces implementation efforts.

This PXI fault insertion switch uses solid state switching elements and is capable of switching current up to 10A. It is designed to be able to insert three different fault conditions between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit. Short-Circuit between UUT connections. Short-Circuit to external signals. Through relays on each channel enable signals to the UUT to be set open-circuit. Fault Insertion Buses allow any channel to be shorted to any other channel and also enable any channel to be connected to an external signal such as Power, Ignition or Ground to simulate fault conditions. The 40-195 is a 22 Channel Fault Insertion Switch, primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive & avionics applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers. It is designed to be able to insert different fault conditions on pairs of signals between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit, Short-Circuit between signal pairs, Short-Circuit between signal pairs and user applied fault conditions e.g. Power or GND. Relays in-line with the signal paths allow open circuit conditions to be simulated on either side or both sides of a signal pair. Relays between each channel pair enable adjacent signals to be shorted, and relays between signal paths and the "Fault" connection allow the application of external user applied fault conditions.

Designed primarily for testing products in plastics. Side access electrically probes outside panel connectors. The unit will also optically read LEDs and key segments off LCD displays. Solenoids will press buttons and servos will turn selector switches. DC motors are used to adjust multiple turn potentiometers. Microphone will detect audio output tones. Top and bottom of circuit boards can also be probed if removable access panels are available. This unit will also probe all 6 sides of a circuit board.
